1. Who we are

PDF & Image Compressor and this website are provided by Kudos IT PTY LTD. This policy explains how information is handled in the Mac app and on this website.

2. Files processed locally

The app reads files you select for conversion or compression, processes them locally and saves the results to the location you choose. Document contents, images and compressed outputs are not uploaded to our servers. An internet connection is not required for compression.

3. Preferences and folder permissions

Compression preferences are stored locally on your Mac. The app may ask for permission to access selected files and folders and may store a security-scoped bookmark for an output folder you select. You can change the output folder in Settings. The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.

4. This website

This website does not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies. Our web server and network providers may process IP addresses, request times, browser information and access or security logs to deliver and protect the site. Website assets are served from this website.

5. Contact form

If you send a message, we collect your name, email address, subject, message and IP address. Messages are sent securely to the App I Want contact service, stored in its database and forwarded to our support team by email. The security check uses a temporary token to limit spam. Do not include passwords, payment details or confidential documents in a support message.

We use contact information to respond, provide support and prevent abuse. Our hosting and email providers process this information as needed to provide those services. We retain support correspondence and security records for as long as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use support messages for advertising.

6. Apple and external links

The Mac App Store, Apple’s purchase services and other websites linked from this site operate under their own privacy policies. Apple may process purchase, download or diagnostic information according to your Apple account and device settings.

7. Security and your choices

Website and support communications use HTTPS. Your local files remain subject to your Mac’s security and backup settings. No system is perfectly secure. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted, subject to applicable obligations.
